Blackberry Lily

Blackberry Lily (Iris domestica, formerly Belamcanda chinensis)
Blackberry Lily is a striking perennial with bright orange, freckled summer blooms that produce unique, blackberry-like seed pods in fall. Its tall, upright habit and sword-shaped foliage create vertical interest in borders and mixed beds.

Thrives in full sun with well-drained soil. Drought-tolerant and low-maintenance, it adds exotic color and texture to perennial gardens.

Grows 2–3 ft. tall and 1–2 ft. wide. Zones 5–9.

Blackberry lilies are sold and shipped as bare-root fans that have been cut back.
